On the 8th September, the Centre for Defence Enterprise (CDE), in partnership with the Welsh Government and Cardiff University, presented a one day seminar on science and technology research in defence.There were networking opportunities throughout the day, with staff from CDE, the Welsh Government, Cardiff University and the Aerospace, Aviation & Defence Knowledge Transfer Network (including the Defence Special Interest Group) on hand.

CDE is the Ministry of Defence's gateway for science and technology ideas from industry, academia and innovators to ensure UK Armed Forces have access to the best equipment, science and technology.  

CDE also ran a series of "One-to-One" Surgeries on the 7th September, meeting with 40 people, to provide individual guidance to innovators on specific proposals.
