Free business events with top speakers with opportunity for networking
Since its creation in 1996 over 10,000 people have attended the 124 plus events we have run for local businesses and innovators. A programme of events is held each year with ca 100 people from a variety of business backgrounds attending each event.

- 25th January event: Developing New Products in a Volatile Environment
29th February: Capital Cardiff Conference
The Innovation Network is pleased to support this free event aimed at fostering business growth, sharing ideas and providing investment and funding opportunities.
Aimed at budding entrepreneurs and established/growing businesses this event - jointly hosted by the South Wales Chamber of Commerce and Cardiff Council - will offer delegates a variety of free breakout seminars and exhibitions, as well as the chance to network and establish new business contacts.
There will also be an opportunity for companies seeking investment to pitch in a Dragons’ Den style event, while new start-up businesses will be able to seek advice from support agencies exhibiting on the day.
In addition, the Capital Cardiff team is looking for up to ten businesses to take part in the
Student Session, providing them with real-life challenges that face businesses and encouraging creativity in engaging with those challenges.
Lastly, there will be a keynote speech from Allister Frost, Head of Digital and Marketing Strategy at Microsoft giving attendees an insight into how to connect with customers and unlock fresh business opportunities through digital channels. Delegates will also be given an opportunity to put a question to Mr Frost during the Q&A session
