2009 Leading Wales Awards

Awards were made under seven categories:  
· Businesses employing more than 250 employees - Wylfa & Maentwrog Power Stations  
· Businesses employing less than 250 employees - 7Side Ltd
· Voluntary / Not for profit sector - RNIB Wales and The Gellideg Foundation Group
· Public sector - Barry Island Primary School
· Team leader - Bridgend Street Pastors
· Young leader (14-25 years) - African Community Centre
· Business leadership in the community - Complete Background Screening Ltd


The South Wales launch of the 2009 Leading Wales Awards took place 15th October 2008 at a special breakfast event held at Cardiff University, hosted by Cardiff Business School, and the deadline for nominations was Friday, 28th November 2008.
