9th November Launch: The ABC of Corporate Social Responsibility

Wednesday 20 October 2010
This event will launch the publication of a new online guide, aimed at helping businesses learn more about how to implement Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Welsh Small and Medium Sized Enterprises.

The guide is divided into three steps designed to suit a business no matter what the level of CSR understanding or what stage a business has reached in relation to CSR.

The guide has been developed by the Centre for Business Relationships, Accountability, Sustainability and Society (BRASS) at Cardiff University in partnership with ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants).

This event will be held at the Pierhead building on November 9th, from 3.30-5pm and will be opened by Jane Davidson AM, Minister for the Environment, Sustainability and Housing, followed by an introduction from Ben Cottam (ACCA), and presentations by Heledd Jenkins (BRASS) and Seamus Gates (Broomfield and Alexander).

There will also be an opportunity to network and ask questions about the guide, providing an opportunity for Welsh SMEs to network and discuss how they can continue CSR commitments during lean times.

This is not an Innovation Network event. To Register for this event, please click on the link below.
