APPortunity: Capital Cardiff is Looking for Companies to Challenge Students on 29th February

Monday 06 February 2012
Capital Cardiff is currently seeking companies to become involved in the Student Session during the afternoon of the Capital Cardiff Event.
The aim of the session is to provide students with a flavour of the challenges that face businesses and to encourage creativity in engaging with those challenges.

Students will work in teams to develop an App to explore a business problem or challenge, e.g. to improve customer engagement. The task will focus on aspects such as functionality and marketing as opposed to the technical development of an App.

Capital Cardiff is looking for up to ten companies to take part in this session. Your role will be to provide a group with a background into your company and a problem/challenge that they can focus on. You will work with them through the session providing further information and guidance where necessary.

At the end of the session the students will present back to business, their peers, and a panel of judges who will rank each presentation and award prizes.

This is a great opportunity to meet some of the brightest students in Cardiff, to take part in a fresh, interactive session and, hopefully, gain an innovative insight to a current business challenge.

For further information - or to express your interest - please contact: Rhian Jones  at Capital Cardiff.   Email: rjones@cardiff.gov.uk  or Telephone: 02920 871412.
