Department of Innovation, Universities & Skills visits Cardiff

The Department of Innovation, Universities & Skills (DIUS)’ Director General of Science and Research Professor Adrian Smith and Head of the Exploitation Directorate Dr Graeme Reid, paid a visit to Cardiff University to see first hand the world-leading research being undertaken at Cardiff.   

Part of a fact-finding mission to better understand the breadth and significance of research activities, and the specific funding and policy issues affecting higher education institutions in Wales, the visit was coordinated by the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales.
