EADS Foundation Wales is committed to the research into and development of technologies in the fields of the Digital Economy, the Low Carbon Economy and Advanced Engineering & Manufacturing.
In particular, the following have been identified as high priority technology areas and this Call relates to these: Solution Engineering; IT Architecture; Communications Architectures; Management Architectures and Systems; Security Architectures and Services; Application and Core Enterprise Services; Systems Integration.
Open to the SME and Academic sectors, this Call will place special emphasis on the SME involvement. Projects in the region of £25K to £50K are preferred, but larger projects will be considered based on uptake and technology advances.
An information day will be held on the
21st July at EADS Newport to answer any questions and interested parties are required to register their interest in order to receive information with respect to the information day and any updates to the Call documentation.
EADS Foundation Wales is an academic, government and industry partnership, whereby Cardiff University has joined with the Welsh Government and EADS, a global leader in aerospace, defence and related services, in setting up a not-for-profit limited company to take forward research and technology projects.
