First Annual Innovation Report Published

The first Annual Innovation Report was launched by the Prime Minister on 4 December 2008.
This reports on progress on the commitments in the Innovation Nation White Paper and presents an overview of the UK’s innovation performance alongside descriptions of the innovation activities of Government Departments and the Regional Development Agencies.
With a foreword by Lord Drayson, Minister of State for Science and Innovation, the report provides an overview of UK innovation performance including business innovation, knowledge exchange, wider innovation, intellectual property protection and A-level, degree and doctorate qualifications in STEM subjects.
It also contains highlights of progress on Innovation Nation commitments on procurement, regulation and Further Education knowledge transfer.
