Professional Development for Welsh Researchers Deadline: February 24th

Welsh Crucible is designed to provide Welsh researchers with the skills to capitalise on their research colleaborations and is based on NESTA's highly successful leadership & development programme for researchers.
The programme enables 30 highly promising scientists, social scientists and scholars to come together to explore and expand their innovative potential through a series of three intensive, two-day residential workshops called ‘labs’.

Designed for talented early-to mid-career researchers working in research and development in Wales in business/industry/service sector or the St David's Day Universities (Aberystwyth, Bangor, Cardiff, Glamorgan, and Swansea).

Welsh Crucible could help you:

- Develop a close network of like-minded peers within the research community
- Demonstrate the benefits of interdisciplinary science and collaboration
- Forge links with the National Assembly of Wales Welsh Government and the Welsh Media
- Improve your effectiveness both within and beyond your organisation
- Ensure that your research has greater impact
- Learn about new areas of research to facilitate personal and career development
- Develop the confidence to communicate your research to the public
