The UK Innovation Forum (UKIF) brings together business people who want to turn technological innovations into commercial success with British universities, research institutions, research councils and government-funded science laboratories that produce world-class innovative technologies.
This new Forum aims to link businesses with the commercialisable output of the UK’s leading technological research facilities, covering: aerospace, particle physics, medicine and life sciences, clean energy, physical sciences, advanced IT, the natural environment and its resources and astrophysics.
UKIF has been established with the backing of the Science and Technology Facilities Council (http://www.stfc.ac.uk/), a non-departmental body of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills of the UK Government.
Cardiff University is a member of this forum and, currently,
