1. Welsh Council Launches "Dragon's Den" Fund

Part of Cardiff Council's £750k cash pot for business will go into a "Dragon's Den-style" investment board to help entrepreneurs start new businesses.

The bulk of the cash - £650k - will be used to invest in small businesses in exchange for a stake in the
company and anyone starting a business as a result of redundancy will be given priority in the scheme.
